What it does

Shows your Claude Code status line in the Claude Desktop app by running the statusLine command you already have and drawing its output above the prompt.

How it works

  1. Reads your statusLine setting and runs that command as you, like the terminal does
  2. Builds the same JSON Claude Code sends on stdin, so your script works unchanged
  3. Draws the output above the prompt in color, only outside the terminal
  4. Refreshes at session start, after each reply and every 60 seconds, or refreshInterval

Good to know

  • You need a status line set up first; without one it has nothing to show.
  • Not on Windows yet, because it runs your command through sh.
  • Some fields stay blank in Desktop: lines changed, PR, vim mode, prompt cache, effort and output style.
