How it works
- Sits above the prompt with its name, mood and level, such as clawd · idle · lvl 1.
- Shows thinking dots while Claude works and a sweat drop through failed commands.
- Gains XP from finished turns and fixed tests, and keeps it across sessions.
- /familiar draw opens a 16x12 pixel editor; export and import share sprites as JSON.
Good to know
- Needs CLAUDE_CODE_ENABLE_FUNCTION_HOOKS set to 1 in the env of ~/.claude/settings.json.
- /familiar ask forks the model for its take on the session. Haiku quips after turns are off by default.
- The default familiar, Clawd, is a pixel recreation of Claude Code's mascot rather than original art.
